COPA Objectives

• Promote professional growth of our school leaders

• Provide collegial support and guidance for school leaders including mentorship and pastoral support for first-time principals

• Promote high standards of performance by leaders to provide a top quality and equitable education system

• Keep COPA members informed of developments in education

• Strengthen liaison relationships with all Otago principals.

• Publicly represent the position of COPA.

• Plan strategically to strengthen education in Central Otago.

• Continue liaison role with Ministry Of Education, Education Review Office.

• Support our local New Zealand Principal's Federation executive members.
